Having grown up in Guernsey and studied at Brock University in Canada, Gavin specialises in dealing with highly complex cases for non-UK residents. He has a wealth of experience in dealing with clients that hold property in offshore trust and company structures, and strives to provide a personable touch to his work.

Prior to joining the Capricorn International team, Gavin was responsible for business development and loan origination for an offshore lender that focused on lending to international buyers, and so is perfectly suited to understanding the unique needs of his clients.

In his spare time, Gavin is a keen sportsman and previously represented Guernsey for volleyball at an international level.

Gizem graduated with a Law degree from the University of Kingston and went on to work as a Paralegal specialising in Criminal Defence before moving in to Finance. Prior to joining Capricorn International, Gizem worked as a Commercial Finance Consultant and Network Manager for 4+ years providing business support to other brokers. Since every client situation is unique, Gizem is committed to empowering clients with knowledge, honest advice and sustainable strategies using her fluency in English and Turkish.

Outside work Gizem enjoys painting, spending time with friends and family and travelling abroad.

With over 25 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, Andy provides extensive expertise supporting both domestic and international clients with residential and buy to let financing. Andy guides clients through the mortgage process with a focus on making financing straightforward, transparent, and tailored to each client’s unique financial goals.

In his spare time, Andy loves to discover new cultures and adventures by traveling to new destinations with a personal goal of visiting 100 + countries.

Sarah graduated from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh with a master’s degree in accountancy and finance. Post graduation Sarah returned home to Shanghai, spending the last 5 years specializing as a wealth manager for one of the top ten private asset manager firms in China. Sarah specializes in providing both domestic and international HNWI clients with suitable suggestions on financial products/solutions.

Truly, tri-lingual, Sarah is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Shanghainese, with a working understanding of both Japanese and French. She has traveled extensively around Europe and Asia, visiting more than 25 countries to date, and loves indulging her newest hobby, scuba diving. Sarah is passionate in using her knowledge and skills to help clients meet their global objectives.

Samuel Lim, a graduate of Royal Holloway University of London with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business and Management, possesses years of experience in the financial services industry. He is based in Singapore, specialising in UK properties for international, non-resident clients. Samuel is also a property investor himself. With a passion for real estate investment, he aims to assist every investor in their property journey, leveraging his expertise and experience to provide tailored solutions.

In his free time, he likes to travel and indulge in diving and sea activities, exploring the underwater wonders of the world.

Berkan graduated from Kadir Has University in Istanbul in Business Administration, having studied on a full academic scholarship. He began his career in retail and corporate banking with Garanti BBVA and ING Bank, where he developed strong experience in credit analysis, portfolio management, and lending to expanding businesses.

Since relocating to the United Kingdom, Berkan has spent more than five years specialising in arranging finance for overseas investors purchasing property in the UK, with a particular focus on clients from Türkiye and the wider Middle East. Prior to joining Capricorn International, he worked as an independent commercial finance broker, structuring both residential and commercial investment mortgages for high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs.

Now part of Capricorn’s Türkiye and Middle East Desk in London, he advises international clients on UK mortgage solutions, investment strategy, and funding structures.

Emelia was a Paralegal in a Singaporean law firm before she joined Capricorn International as a Mortgage Administrator. Specialising in administration, Emelia uses her experience to build her professional goals within Capricorn International. During her free time, Emelia enjoys cafe-hopping, exploring new places to eat in the city. She is a foodie and a coffee lover.
